Kristian Lindgren
Professor in Complex
Systems
Physical Resource Theory
Department of Energy
and Environment
Currently also co-director for European
Centre for Living Technology in Venice.
Kristian Lindgren is doing research, both in complex
systems and in energy system analysis.
In year 2000, he started the International
Masters Programme in Complex Adaptive Systems, for which
he was the main director 2000-2003. He is director and examiner
for the PhD education in Complex Systems at Chalmers.
Current research projects include:
- Artificial Life (PACE
-- Programmable Artificial Cell Evolution),
- Emergent organisation in complex biomolecular systems (EMBIO),
- Multi-agent modelling; evolution of cooperation; game theory
(with Anders Eriksson and Torbjörn Lundh),
- Development of energy systems under CO2-emission constraints
(with Christian Azar and several other researchers at the department).
